Here come the crocuses: the daffodils aren't far behind.

It’s been an amazing few days in my little corner of Yorkshire, and I’ve taken the opportunity of the sunny, warm weather to take some photographs of my favourite places. Although old traditionalists like me celebrate the coming of spring on 21st March, according to the meteorogical office, spring starts on March 1st. So here’s a gallery of photos taken during the last few days of winter. 

 

The sky is so blue in this picture it looks more like a Mediterranean scene than a Yorkshire one.
