Word of the week: Powfagged

Feeling tired? This is the word for you. This week’s word is an old Lancashire dialect one, which was also used in our little corner of Derbyshire. Powfagged, means extremely tired or exhausted. I’ve not heard it used by anyone in years, but it really brings back memories of my childhood.
