Picture of the week: St. Gregory’s Minster

This week’s picture is of St. Gregory’s Minster, near Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire. The minster dates from Anglo Saxon times. The sundial in the porch was probably donated to the church sometime in the 1050’s or 60’s.

This beautiful small church is well worth a visit if you’re passing.
