Bruce the dog and I were out walking near Thixendale on Saturday when we spotted these magnificent highland cattle.
They hung around patiently while I photographed the. Bruce reined in his natural instincts and sat calmly until I’d finished.
Thixendale isn’t far from where we live, only a fifteen minute drive, but it’s the furthest distance we’ve been away from home in the last five months. Covid continues to limit our travels, so we look for small pleasures closer to home.
