Picture of the Week 4/8/18: Langton Panorama

This week Bruce the dog and I have been out on a couple of long walks in the mornings. Now Bruce is getting older he’s more able to manage long walks, so two or three hours are no longer out of the question. On Thursday we went one of my favourite walks to the village of Langton. The outward leg is along quiet back lanes, but we returned through the fields and up some ancient earthworks called the Three Dykes. The view from the top is quite majestic I think. On shorter walks I carry my DSLR camera around with me. But on longer treks, especially where there’s a chance of rain, I take a smaller weatherproof camera with me. The pictures aren’t pro level, but it does have a good panorama function on it. I used this to take this photo from the top of the Three Dykes.
