Goodbye Sally
Sally and Brindle caught in a tender moment.
It’s been a strange sort of week, and for one I won’t be sorry to say goodbye to it.
I’m very sorry to say that we had to say goodbye to our lovely dog, Sally, this week. Unfortunately her poor legs finally gave out and the kindest thing was to let her slip away.
She was a cracking dog, and leaves a massive void in our lives. We were so lucky to share our lives with her – she enriched them so much.
Sometime soon I’ll post a gallery of our favourite pictures, but for the time being here’s one of my recent favourites.
Next week we’re off for a short camping trip to the Yorkshire Dales. I’ll post a ‘picture if the day’ while we’re there.

Although I hardly knew her, never even stroked her or said “hello” to her I’m sure she willl be saying “hello, nice to meet you.” to Penny in doggie heaven. Who knows? Maybe Penny may tell stories about me. Like the “Hitting dog with Cricket bat in Filey day for one”. So sorry Dave and Liz.
Thanks Tom, I’m sure you met Sally a few times. She’ll be having a great time with Penny and all the other dogs!
I shall miss her not being there when I visit next. So glad we had the day at Filey with her. Have a good break both of you and will let you have the photos I took at Filey. XX
Well, you can’t say she wasn’t a happy dog… Always smiling. What a great sadness.
